Sponsoring my wife for permanent resident

Hi Respected People,

I have got my copr and now I’m going to add my wife in to the pr application process. Long story short I didn’t knew that I have to add her before that’s why I’m adding her now.

Actually I’m applying through the consultant and also I have called CIC but non of them told me to provide educational documents for of my wife. I don’t know why.

Is it compulsory to add educational documents in this case? Because she is being a student from last 10 years.

Did you list her as your wife at all during the process, or did you apply as single?

I applied as single but I’m adding her now to my application before flagpollling.

I just wants to know if it is necessary to add her educational documents or not.

No, you don't need her educational documents.

Note that you are not able to land with your current COPR. You will have to return it and can expect at least 3-4 months of additional processing time to add your wife.

Thanks for you reply.

Yes I think you are right because CIC agents didn’t ask me to return my copr documents yet even tho I asked them should I return them or not.

Please let me know if there is anything else I should know.
