based on all above facts would it be safe to apply for my kids or just leave things as is .

Note: at the time of landing i did not know that i have to to declare my wife (we just have married two months before landing), if i know that i would have declared my wife then and saved my self all this issues.

Unfortunately CIC is not going to accept "I didn't know" excuse. So your wife would have to come into Canada by other means.
