Hello!

I'm about to start the procedure to sponsor my British husbandand although we've been looking at immigration procedures for over a year, I'm overwhelmed by all that is to be done with care.

I live in Quebec. My husband speaks very little French, and so we've decided to live in either Ontario or New Brunswick after he immigrates to Canada. My question is: do we still need to apply through Quebec Immigration or not?

If anyone has any additional advice about sponsoring from Quebec I'd love to hear it!

Thank you

Hmmm. I think since you're living in Quebec, you will be required to do the Quebec part of the procedure as well, at least according to the Sponsorship guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3900E.pdf) - the Quebec part applies to sponsors living in Quebec, doesn't mention anything about where you intend to be living when the PR comes to Canada. You can give CIC a call to confirm this.
