True , US visa is not required for flag poling. Ideally people go for the US administrative refusal when they are landing as a PR.
Am not sure how well this will go for extension.

Read from ur previous posts that you are planning for honeymoon ..is it outside canada ? In that case you will lose implied status while u r waiting on the online extension and any extension obtained will be reset.
Because our honeymoon will be out of the country and she's visa exempt does that mean when we come back from the honeymoon she'll need to get a new stamp on landing? If that's the case, we'll only need the extension for a couple weeks at the most. If she shows up at the border with tickets for our honeymoon flights, do you think that would be proof of intent to leave the country?

Also, sorry, I'm having difficulty locating the Paris thread. Any search for Paris doesn't give me anything remotely current.

Thanks! ;D

try scanning the first few pages of this board. it's usually the best way to find a thread. or if you're lucky, someone will come around and post a link.

Paris thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/paris-office-timeline-t236590.45.html

When she re-enters Canada, it will be treated as a new entry as a visitor.

Apply for Extension of Stay:
Do it about a month prior to expiration. She will have Implied Status until a decision is made.

Take a Short Trip to USA:
Both of you like travelling. Hopefully, she will not have any problem at the border and will be able to get back to Canada. She will have an extended stay.

Get Married. Good Luck.
