me, my wife and my small daughter landed in Canada last October, but we left Canada after we had got our PR cards. My wife is now pregnant and for medical reason my wife's physician told her that she can't travel to Canada to deliver the baby there. In this case can any body guide me what I have to do in order to sponsor my baby as I heard that I can't go through the normal immigration process I did before for me.

What are the steps in this case?

It's a similar process but one of you will have to be in Canada (since both you and your wife are PRs) since PRs have to be living in Canada to sponsor a family member.

Take a look at the at the documents here on the CIC website

hi Leon and All,

I also have same problem, Me and my wife both are PR of Canada. Its became around 2 years we are here in our home country. In this period of time our baby has born and now she is 8 months old. I have seen the forms and all other famalities to sponsor our child. I am not being comfort to fill the form as there are so many fields asking whether we are employee or not. Its obvious we both dont have job right now. At this stage what is the best way that we can show our capacity to support our sponsored family member? Please help
