Does CIC require a certain amount of annual income and what other info should we be aware of before submitting our documents??

If you live in Quebec you will have to make a certain amount of money. But elsewhere in Canada there is no minimum requirement.

Just have lots of evidence that you have maintained contact. They will be suspicious of why you have not gone back since 2010 to visit.

There is no income required in Quebec either. You do not even have to supply any form of income documents of any kind, that is why Quebec residents don't have to fill out the financial documents in the Federal application. You can't be on Social assistance in Quebec either just like the rest of Canada. You just need to provide proof of Quebec residency.

Really?? but why was there a whole thing in the app with a guide to how much you have to make depending on size of family?? Or is that just for parents and children?

Thanks for letting me know, I will definitely act on that asap!!

How many photos should I add in, we have numerous photos with his family in them together. How much email letters should I add in too? What things should I place in the documents? Anyone have a specific idea who wasn't rejected at first application send?

April~
:D

That's right, it does not apply to spousal applications, but it does apply to other sponsorships. I know there are enough different rules to make everyone's heads spin. lol

I'm wishing everyone the best of luck, and happy endings in this process.
It's a long hard wait to be with the one we love.

I am going to tell you straight off the hop that NO case is the same. As well.. Rabat has no set process. Your experience will be your own with them.

As well I will say that during my husbands interview they questioned why I waited 4 months to apply. So you are going to have to be prepared to explain very well as to why you have waited 2 years to apply.

Add as much proof of communication as possible, phone records, emails, online conversations, gifts sent. You will need copies of your airline tickets of your trip. You will need a lot of photos of your time there with his family and friends and the wedding. If you had a honeymoon then receipts from the hotel or apartment rented. The proof of communication must start from when you first met. If you can get letters from both your families and friends stating they know about the relationship and support it that is good also.

But honestly the first thing you are going to have to do is get off assistance. You will go no where with the app until then.

Wish you best of luck!!

This morning I decided that if an ADR is offered to me and it is in June (this is the time frame my consultant told me it would happen), I will say yes.

If I lose the ADR, at least I will have a second chance with the full hearing in September or October. Also this ADR will be like a practice run for me. It will be a great learning experience for me if I have to appeal again with the full hearing. Losing the ADR in June before I leave for Morocco or losing it in September when I return from Morocco won't make any difference. I will still be at the same place. At the ADR in June, I could show the immigration committee my travel documents for the summer as evidence. I prefer to cry in my husband's arms than crying alone in September. At least we will spend beautiful moments together and it will help us to heal from the deception.

If I win this ADR, then imagine how a happy summer my husband and I will have! And I will have a happy return home knowing that he will follow me in a few months after. If I win this ADR in June, then we have more chances for him to get his visa just in time for the Christmas holidays!

Hi Aziz, I sent mine with the application. They ask for it in the papers you have to include.
