btw, I noticed bakas23 was the last to get her husband a visa on this forum - april 2nd 2013.
no interview and she was only 18 but they're both moroccans so that probably helped.

yes right about bakas23, i'm pretty sure they had similar backgrounds plus her parents were willing have them live with them until they were able to live on their own, so a lot of family support there, i''m sure that helped them a lot

one whose husband did get his visa was Feelslikeforever ... it seemed to have gone pretty quick, including an interview, her timeline was September 2012 to March 2013 .... hopefully ours will go as quick insha'Allah

unfortunately we have no choice but to play this waiting game :'(

i submitted my application in April and i'm still anxiously waiting for any updates ... as far as i know, my file is being processed, so hopefully i will be hearing something soon insha'Allah

i know for me, reading this forum does help pass the time because we are all going through the same thing. The people on this forum are so helpful and can pretty much answer any questions that you do have because we all have different experiences

Question: since we are all waiting and all our documents/proofs is with our application, is anyone gathering more proof of communication such as chats or phone calls or future trips back to Morocco?

I've read on this forum, that when the principal applicant goes to the interview, they do ask for more documents or anything that would help with their application.

They ask for passport, a copy of email with interview date, and they asked for proof since the beginning of the relationship (excluding the proof already submitted with application of course) just until now. We had already prepared that in case there was an interview. I mailed him a batch of pictures of all of our actual fb and skype messages and text messages, more pictures from the trips, more emails, cellular bills, etc. And he confirmed that he will be attending interview (in a few weeks), he also mentioned that although I could not make the interview myself for that date, I am scheduled to come end of October. He gave them specific dates of my visit in case they decide they want to interview me and change the date accordingly...

Yes, the huge age difference is a red flag for the VO. An even bigger flag was the fact that my husband has never wanted to have children. For them, it is not normal (they really grilled us in court with that issue). Our mistake was that we did not support enough our application. It was kind of weak according to our consultant. We should have written a document in which we explain that we are aware of our age difference, that we talked about it (how many times we talked about it, when, where and on what occasions, what was exactly said, etc.), the same with our non-desire to have children. We should have been more upfront.

oops forgot to ask ... is this what they was said in the email to your husband? ... about the passport, copy of email and proof ?

No I have not heard from them. I tried to email him but had no response. My man's brother is going to the same town as your man. He leaves in the morning.
