Hi to all

I have question:

I am PR and i wish to do sponsorship for my brother, can someone who have more experience to advise me and tell me few steps what is important to start applications and what is important from my side to show to guvernment that i can be Sponsor.

Thank you :)

Depending on your circumstances, there are two options for who you can sponsor.

Option 1 – Orphaned close relatives

You can sponsor the following close relatives only if they are orphaned, under 18, and do not have a spouse or common law partner:

brothers or sisters,
nephews or nieces, or
grandchildren.
Option 2 – Other relative

You can sponsor one relative of any age if:

you do not have a spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, or one of the following living relatives you could sponsor instead:
son or daughter,
parent,
grandparent,
brother or sister, or
uncle, aunt, nephew or niece.
AND,

you do not have a spouse, common law partner, conjugal partner, or any of the above-named relatives who is a:
Canadian citizen,
permanent resident, or
registered Indian under the Indian Act.

Since you have a family in Canada, you unfortunately cannot sponsor your brother. If he wishes to immigrate he will have to qualify on his own.

im sorry but since you are not technically alone you cannot sponsor him. He can try the express entry or the provincial nominee programs.

Just tell him to immigrate the same way you did yourself.

Lol that will be long and pain process for him :-\
I was dishwasher 4 years 1month 2days :P

No that's not what I mean. You clearly had to learn English, gain some work experience, apply through provincial nominee program, etc. I know it's different now with express entry and that low skilled workers will have a harder time immigrating here, but if your brother really wants to come here, if he really works hard at doing all the things listed above, he can possibly get an invitation to apply for PR, and get his PR visa in 6 mths or less.
