Hi All,

Me and my wife are both PR holders. We came to Canada 4 months back. ( June 2019 )
My wife is going to have a baby and for some family reasons we have to go to our home country for the childbirth.
I have been reading about TRV and TRP and PR in the forums. What would be the best way to bring my child into Canada?

1. Apply for TRV and come inside Canada and then apply for PR? ( Read everywhere that TRV is getting rejected)

2. Wait and apply for PR from India? ( How long does it take practically to get everything?)

Please I need suggestions more than "It would be easy to have the child here and to have a canadian passport, all problems solved :)"

1. Yes - you can do this.
2. No - not possible. One of the parents must be living in Canada to sponsor the child for PR.
