Sponsoring Dependant Child - Delhi Applicants

[/flash]Hi Friends,

I have applied for my Daughter's {Minor- 3 years old} Permanent Residence and I am the sponsor. The application details are as follows:

Application Received : September 29. 2014
Sponsorship Approved: November 22, 2014
Status- "In Process" : February 18, 2015

Just want to know, is the processing period as mentioned in the cic.gc.ca is for every application or it can change as per the situation. As my daughter is minor, I don't think there will be any police verification for her.

Just a bit curious to know about it as we are already in Canada.

I have applied from NDVO, as my daughter is in India.

Ok that's nice to hear your application is in process. I too have applied for my daughter's sponsorship in july end and thstatus is still ar.

OK. I was thinking as my daughter is only 3 years old, that's why the process will be fast and I may get the PR in 6 to 8 months which was also told to me by one consultant in Mississauga.

That's what I thought too when I applied but they are taking a lot of time though. Well It depends case to case as well. Hope you get the visa soon. By the way have they asked you and additional info in between.

No additional documents requirement from their side. I have also submitted the Medicals separately to NDVO and in the status its showing as Medical Received.

Can anybody tell me how to know which month application are getting processed right now. Because I have seen in some other discussion forum they are mentioning the month of application which are getting processed now.
