Hi everyone,

My husband and I are moving back to Canada in a month and I intend to sponsor him. I was looking through the requirements and to be approved, you would have to have a certain amount of income. I lived in Australia for just over a year, and I have no job to come back to in Canada. We will be living with my parents until I can get a job again. My parents are willing to support us until we can get back on our feet. Would that cause any dilemma when it comes to sponsoring him? Thank you!

Nope it shouldn't. there is no minimum income as long as you don't have children. The minimum income only applies if you have children.

As long as you did not receive social assistance, then you should be fine.
