I would like to sponsor my older sister to come and spend a few months with me. She is a secondary school teacher. How do I go about getting temporary residence visa for her?

A few months is a fairly long visit. Does she have strong ties to her home country? Does she have previous travel to countries requiring visas such as the UK and US?

Thank you for the reply. A few months here is three months at months. Would that be considered a long visit too. As for the ties, she has a son who is in Grade 8, she has a job as a secondary school teacher, and she has the rest of our family. As concerns travelling, she has never traveled overseas. My invitation will be her first overseas travel.
