Sponsored person tuition aid

Hello,

Sibling was sponsored through the Parent and Grandparent program and is now a permanent resident. Can this person request university/college tuition assistance (OSAP, grants, fellowships, etc) OR will that be considered social assistance and the sponsor is going to get billed?

They can request tuition assistance - this is not classified as social assistance. FYI - OSAP is generally a loan that needs to be paid back once studies have been completed.
