Now I'm not sure if I should wait for the biometrics request or should I just book an appointment at Pakistan/Lahore to get the biometrics done for my wife. Please let me know if it's possible to book the date and get the biometrics done because I can't wait to spend the time with my wife in Canada. Please let me know thanks a lot

U have to wait for the request. Unless you've done bio in the past 10 years they won't need another one. Check your Gckey to see if it's updated there.

You need to wait for the request from IRCC. I doubt your wife will be able to do her biometrics without providing the request letter to the office.
