Hello,
My husband would like to sponsor our 5 month old daughter from within Canada.
My husband and I are both permanent residents as well as 1 of our 3 daughters, the eldest is a Canadian Citizen.
When filling out the application forms, does my husband have to include me (his spouse) and our other 2 daughters in the form entitled Generic Form?

Also, I am not currently employed, does it make sense for me to be a co-signer?

Thanks!

They will put a visa in his passport to allow him initial entry into Canada so that he can land as a PR. They will mail the PR card to the Canadian address that he gives to the landing officer.

Log into ECAS to change your address.
canuck_in_uk - I hear that the folks handling the PR card processing do not use the address in eCAS. That whatever address you have there when processing the PR application (COPR mailing address) is separate from what is used for PR card mailing. Or does eCAS also have access to the PR card mailing address?

No, they don't use the ECAS address.

The landing officer will specifically ask what address the new PR wants their card to be sent to.

Email the London office, explain that his passport is being held for the extension of his UK visa and ask for an extension on the 30 days.

Ask about the passport on the London thread, there are other non visa-exempt applicants that should be able to answer.

Current processing time for the PR card is 52 days.
