Hi

When was your file actually transferred to London? The 10 month count doesn't start from when you sent the app to Mississauga in November, it starts after you get sponsor approval and the file gets to London.

80% of cases are done in the 10 months. The other 20% take longer.

Is your husband a UK citizen? Has he lived in other countries? Any red flags in your file, like big age difference, different cultural backgrounds, criminal record?

There is no red flag as well. The file was submitted in Canadian high commission London on 28 nov 2013 and was approved on feb2013 from misssuga.

Your app would have gone to Mississauga in Nov 2012 and so it was only transferred to London in Feb 2013. This means that 10 month countdown started Feb.

Non visa-exempt tend to take longer than the processing time.

You cannot go in person. You can contact the London office by Case Specific Enquiry here https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london

There had to have been a red flag, even if it's a small one, otherwise they would've waived your interview seeing as how London has a very high acceptance rate of 90%.

I don't know if you are talking about COPR or a PR card. If it is indeed a PR card, I know it can ONLY be mailed to an address in Canada.

one other poster already answered - you can not go to London Office to enquiry. You can send them a case-specific enquiry.

You can go back to Pakistan, but I wouldn't advise that your husband goes with you. As you say, it's difficult to get a visa to the UK. Now - his interview already took place, so he might not need to go to London anymore. But he will have to mail his passport, and receive it back with his visa, and his COPR (confirmation of PR). London does not issue PR cards - that's only done in Canada.

You can move to Pakistan to wait for the PR process to end, but then you will have to change your mailing address to Pakistan. It's feasible, but I'm not sure how relevant the post is in Pakistan, and you might have to wait a long time for the passport to come back. You can also have the passport sent back to a friend/representative in London but then your husband would be without a passport in Pakistan.

His file can not be transferred to Islamabad.

You can contact them and ask about the process, stating that you had an interview on the 5th of June and haven't heard anything after that, and would like an update.

Good luck,
Sweden

They will put a visa in his passport to allow him initial entry into Canada so that he can land as a PR. They will mail the PR card to the Canadian address that he gives to the landing officer.

Log into ECAS to change your address.
