im working as nurse(filipino) in saudi arabia, shall i go home to Philippines for the spouse sponsorship? or is it better to wait here in saudi arabia for the processing? 8)

you can choose the visa office based on your residence or your nationality, if you have been admitted with a visa for at least a year to another country ( you don't need to be in Saudi Arabia for at least a year, you need a visa that allows you to be there for at least 1 year).

Now - in your case, Manila is a much faster office than Abu Dhabi, so there is no reason for you to choose to go through AbuDhabi... Manila is probably a better choice in terms of timing. You don't need to be in the Philippines to apply through the Philippines, as it's your country of nationality, it's always available as a choice. WHen you fill out the application, when asked which office should process your application, you can choose Manila. You can stay and keep on working in Saudi Arabia during the process of your application. If you're called for an interview, you will have to go to Manila though - keep that in mind. Manila also requests the passport quite early in the process, so I'm not sure how it would work for you... as you would need your passport.

I'm working also here in Saudi Arabia and submitted my application for spouse sponsorship last May 2013 Visa office Manila. this is my number kabayan kung need u po ng more info. to guide you. pm ko sayo number ko.

so i'd better choose manila office then, do you have idea how long will be the process?
does it matter if we only married on civil wedding?

Yup .. Visa office ko Manila mas madali kc ang processing time ng Manila Visa Office compare sa Abu Dhabi ang problima nga lang pag kilangan ng interview need nating bumalik ng pinas at ask ko lang sayo kung hawak mo ba ang passport mo dito sa Saudi or just in case na hindi pwede mo bang hiramin to sa company mo just in case na e request na ng Visa Office ang passport mo for PPR, ok na ba police clearance mo.
