Hi, I hope someone can help me with this. I have a question concerning my dual-citizenship and living abroad while applying.

I'm a Canadian with dual Polish-Canadian citizenship but I live in Poland (I've done so for the past 5-6 yrs). I've already checked, I qualify as a sponsor for my wife, who is Polish, and our 1.5 yr-old toddler, who has all her Canadian papers & passport, etc. (I've been told here that she won't need anything else). Obviously, I'm applying as a Canadian to go back home sometime in 2016. My wife has done her medical, and she's received her police record, etc. and we're almost done filling out the forms.

However, do I have to provide any Polish docs, police records, etc...since technically I live in Poland as a Polish citizen? I have a valid Canadian passport; I plan to provide proof of employment for the past 12 months as well as a job offer I have lined up in Canada. Our intention is to also bring with us some savings.

Any advice would be helpful, and it doesn't necessarily have to pertain to Poland, just dual-citizens sponsoring their spouses while living in their country of their origin or birth. Thanks

Cheers

there seems to be a technical problem with the site... :(

No you're Canadian you apply like any other Canadian . You don't have to have police checks etc just need some kind of proof that you will return to Canada when you sponsor your wife. I have dual citizen ship also i was able to sponsor my husband.
