Sponsor wife who is in Canada as a student. Inland or outland?

My girlfriend (Turkish on student visa/permit) and I (Canadian Citizen) got married two weeks ago in Ontario.

I have 3 questions:

If we apply outland in Turkey can then she can come back and keep studying here on her student visa?

It says the processing time for Turkey applications is 11 months, while it says 26 for inland applications. Is this generally accurate?

How long after marriage will I have my marriage certificate so I can submit the sponsorship application?

This is not at all accurate. They have not updated that web site in a very long time. The last year's statistics for inland processing was 22 months (issued in June 2016). Under program alterations, they are landing people in much less time now (some as little as 4 months; not the norm yet). Outland is typically faster (or was), so the outland number is likely correct.

Ontario takes FOREVER. They will not even look into processing problems before 10 weeks. My wife and I married in Ontario as well, and it took 16 weeks to get our Certificate.

Others on the forum who married in Ontario have stated that they sent an urgent request for the marriage certificate and recieved it in much less time than normal.

I called them weekly (as they requested) and finally nothing. They had us resend the application in by having our officiant filling out the long form marriage package. This was the first and only failure I had seen with the Registrar's office of Ontario. I can tell you that if you were married less than 10 weeks ago, they won't express it.

[you may want to apply Outland because of the shorter time. She continue studying if her permit is current. Cic will let you know what is needed. She does not have to be Outland physically.]

Lol, should I quote the IRCC posted processing times? As we all know, posted times aren't always exact for everyone. The thread I included shows that others have been able to obtain their marriage certificates in less time.

And I stated that ours took longer. So, that looks to be reasonably accurate. I can also state that as of last year this time, they would not trace a registration until they couldn't find it after 10 weeks.
