Sponsor who still lives at home with parents

I'm looking to sponsor my boyfriend but the problem is I can't meet a few requirements.

Since we're living with my parents, we don't have any joint leases or rental agreements since I live at home and don't have to pay rent or anything. We also don't have any bills to pay since my parents pay for everything.

So what should we do for those two things?

Also on the checklist it says that I should provide a plane ticket showing I visited my boyfriend in his country but the thing is I haven't been to his country so is that okay that I haven't gone there?

Any help will be appreciated.

I may be wrong but I don’t think you can sponsor a boyfriend. I believe you can sponsor your spouse , or common law partner . Have you lived together for 12 months ?
Or are you simply looking to have him come in a visitor visa ?

We're going for a common law relationship. In a few months we will have lived together for a total of 12 months. We're just preparing everything we need now for the common law since there's a lot to do.

Could your parents write a lease agreement and back date it 12 months?

Do you have cell phone bills? Bank accounts, joint and/or separate? Car insurance? Drivers licenses with current address?

All these things will help

My parents could do that but we don't pay them anything so would that be okay to still write one?

My cell is on my parents contract. I've been trying to figure out a way to get him a phone and put both of our names on it and it not be too expensive since most phone companies charge a lot.

We're going to get a joint bank account and hopefully credit cards to that account.

No car insurance cause neither of us drive.

And I heard he can get an ID card with my address on it from Service Canada so we're going to look into that.

Get a notarized letter from your parents instead of a lease.

You need proofs that show a full year of cohabitation, so getting cell phones and joint accounts at this point doesn't mean anything for common-law.

Service Canada doesn't issue IDs. The provincial government might but given his status as a visitor, you need to check that.

Alright I'll get a letter from my parents. We couldn't get a joint bank account until now because the bank wanted him to have a visitor status of 1 year and he was only allowed here for 6 months so we applied for a 1 year extension and it just got approved a few weeks ago so that's why we're getting the bank account and everything now. We didn't get any bills like a cell phone because if his extension got denied then I would be paying for a phone that nobody is using. By the time we apply everything will be at least 6 months old. I asked a long time ago if that would be okay that things like a bank account weren't 12 months old and someone told me it would be fine. So I'm quite confused because I keep getting two different answers on everything. But I will look into the ID some more.

No one on this forum told you 6 months of proof would be OK for proving common-law. You need to be able to prove that you have lived together for one continuous year, not 6 months. That is the very basis of qualifying as common-law.

What other proofs do you have?

It was on a different forum I made a long time ago. Here's a link https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/proving-common-law-relationship.575711/

Look at the last reply they say "The bank account doesn't need to have existed for 12 months, as that's not necessarily something to show cohabitation, but I'd start collecting whatever you can now to show that he currently lives with you"

So they said that less than 12 months doesn't show common-law and in that same reply, they told you need proof showing one year of cohabitation.

What common-law proofs do you actually have?

That is misrepresentation and can get the application rejected and the applicant barred from Canada for up to 5 years.
Not if they did in fact live there for that period of time and they had a verbal lease, they can in fact put it in writing. If they did not live there, then I would agree with you
