sponsor spouse and her son for inland PR application in canada

Hi

I am indian and PR holder in Canada. After my divorce I re marry to an indian girl who is widow and visit Canada with her son on tourist visa. Now she and her son is living with me. I am going to sponsor my spouse and her son under family class sponsorship inland application. I have two question where I gets confused
1. My question is do I have to fill sperate application form for both my spouse and my step son or if my spouse as Principal Application fill the dependent details and mentioned her son name it would be enough.
2. and to sponsor my step son do I need to provide any guardianship papers.

1. One app with the kid as a dependent.

2. She will need to show proof that the other parent is deceased.

Application form is IMM1344 or just mentioned details in Additional dependent form
and
Yes she has the death certificate of her ex husband.

and what about the guardianship papers do I need to prepare at the time of sponsorship application.
