I and my wife's PR is in process under CEC and we received our medical request.

In the mean time can we sponsor my parents for the Temporary visit visa or should we wait till we get our PR card.

If I apply now will there be any chances of rejection. Please advise.

Thanks for your help!

I don't think visitors need to be sponsored. You just invite them.

Sorry, yes I just want to send an invitation to visit Canada.

Hi chikku0801,

You can very well invite your parents to visit Canada.
From your side, you need to send a Invitation letter mentioning that you are going to invite your parents for XXX duration (should be less than 6 months to Visit your family. Also mention that your parents will be staying with you and mention your address.
Attach your last 3 months bank statement, Address proof (like lease agreement etc). You can also mention that you have a PR applciation in process.

They will easily get the visitor Visa.

Hope this clarifies your doubt.

Yes you can invite them
You need 3 letters
- One letter from Your side to your Parents inviting them in Canada
- One from Your side to VO mentioning your are responsible for their expense while stay in canada
- One from your parents to VO (Normal cover letter)

Salary copy for last 3 month
T4/Assessment latest copy
your parent bank statement fro 6 month (I did as it was mentioned in check list )

Hope this will be helpful

Interesting.. And do they just need to attach all these requirement in their Visitor Visa application?

How about if you want to invite your siblings as well? Thanks!

Hello Friends, I have one question regarding the inviting parents on the visitor visa. Do I also need to include the rental agreement as I am living in a basement on rent and there is no rental agreement. Do they ask for the rental agreement. Please advise
