My marriage is scheduled next year in 2018
Getting my PR in maximum 2 months from now..
Need to sponsor my future wife in Egypt

Shall I ?
1. Get married in Egypt, Travel to Canada to get my PR, start the sponsorship for her from Canada while she is in Egypt. [takes now around 12 months] of separation.
2. Get her a TRV (temp Visitor Visa), get married in Canada, start sponsorship from Canada (if possible) and start there together.

It can be quite difficult to get a TRV approved. So I would have her apply for one. If she's approved, then you'll have a choice to make. If she's refused, the choice will be made for you.

Also note that if you get married before coming to Canada on your PR visa - you must return your PR visa (without using it), complete and submit all of the paperwork to add your spouse to your application and then wait for a new PR visa to be issued. No matter what you do, do not use a PR visa issued to you as a single person to land if you've gotten married. If you do this - you'll never be able to sponsor your spouse.

Thanks a lot scylla for the prompt and accurate replies :)
ok so let me ask about this plan...

- She applies for TRV (before we even get engaged or married for example) like now
- Then I get my PR Visa, then I go get my PR card from Canada
- Then return to get married in my country.
- Then travel as separate people
- Get married in Canada on papers
- Start the sponsorship from Canada

Getting TRV from Egypt will be very difficult especially because many Egyptians have filed for asylum recently. Unless she has an extensive travel history to places like the UK, US, Australia, Europe and has strong ties to her home country like a job, property, business, children, etc it is unlikely it won't happen. She'll also have to show that she has enough money to support herself while in Canada without your help. You can try but I would plan on sponsoring her.

As long as you don't get married and land as a single person. If you get married before you land you MUST inform CIC and resubmit some paperwork for your wife. If you don't you can never sponsor your wife.
