sponsor of dependent children

I am a PR. When I applied for my immigration in 2001 I was married with two children and all are included in my application however, in 2006 I got divorced at that time the visa processing office issued me the medical of my entire family however due to change in my family status i informed the visa office who utimatly required the custody documents of my two children I have provided the court order in which my ex wife handed over the children to me but that was not accepted by the visa office later on due to delay in the custody issue I written a letter to visa office mentioning that due to delay in custody case I have deceided not to accompany my children with me to Canada till the finalization of their custody case. The visa office issued me my visa. However. now I am planning to sponsor them as I have got the court custody as well as appointed guardian of my children. Please advise the procedure for sponsorship as when I received my 2nd medical the medical of my kids were not provided. Further I received the custody after I got my PR Visa does it effect my sponsorship application.

If your children were never medically examined, then they are no longer members of the family class. The only way that you will get them into Canada is through a Humanitarian and Compassionate application.

My kids have gone through their first medical issued on 28-02-06 however the Islamabad imigration office has also not issued their medicals on 2nd time when they issued mine on 31-7-08 what does it mean and they have also not intimated about their status in my application.

As long as they had the first medical, then you can sponsor them.
