I am unmarried for now. Can I sponsor my unmarried brother from India. Will I Be able to sponsor my wife later once I marry?
 
Are your parents or grandparents alive. No other family in Canada like aunts/uncles/cousins?
 
I saw a clause in CIC website. As I am not married yet. Does it applies to me ?

Under exceptional conditions, the answer to this question is yes. If the siblings are 18 years old or more, the sponsor may still sponsor them if she or he is a lonely person. In other words, the sponsor does not have a spouse, a common-law partner, a conjugal partner, a mother or father, a child, or grandparents, either

  • who live in Canada, or
  • the sponsor may qualify to sponsor them.

This doesn't help you.

Since your mother is alive and you can sponsor her, you do not qualify to sponsor your brother.
