Sponsor approval processing time

Hi everyone!

We have applied for PR under inland Family Class for my Spouse back in August. To be more precise the doc has arrived at CIC office on Aug.31st. Till now we have not heard back anything from them. Just wondering what is an average time to receive an application number and approval of the Sponsor to link your application to online account?
Please share your experience or knowledge I really begin to worry ...it's been already 2 months since they received the doc and we have no clue if everything is ok or not

6-8 weeks isn't at all unusual. So you should be hearing something very soon.

Please see spreadsheet link in my signature line below for time to SA. 60 - 70 days is not that unusual. My own took 65 days and I can't think of a more straightforward example!

I have some question to ask regarding the sponsorship approval. I submitted my application last Sep 18.. they requested the schedule background last dec, got my medical examination last April and pass. I used my sister as my representative, but my mistake, I didn't use her as a representative in behalf of my husband who sponsored me. He didn't have email, my husband never get a sponsor approval letter. Does it mean he's approved already? But when i used the cic line self serve, it says my background check is in process. The sponsorship approvalmis not in process yet. So I just have to wait or do I have to call them?
