The instructions say 9 photo's properly labelled on back and signed by applicant with date of birth of applicant....does this include our childrens photo's also?

Photos are only required for those being sponsored.

hello,

I have a question on that topic, just to make sure, we dont have children, I am the person to be sponsored, is it correct, that I include in our application only 2 photos from me ? thank you.

thank you Gemmie :)

I found it: Supply 8 recent photos for each member of your family and yourself. Follow the instructions in Appendix B.

So I need 8 Immigration photos, since its just me, thank you again for your answer !

Sorry i was modifying that.
Are you applying outland or inland?

Inland needs only 2
For outland

It depends on what country your applying from. US applicants it asks for 4 recent photos. Some countries as for 9.
Some for 5.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

If you scroll down and look at the country your applying from , open the file and at the bottom it will
tell you exactly how many photos you need to send with specifications they require of the size etc..

I apply Inland :)

my home country is Austria, hm, now I`m not sure, is that link only for Outland application ? I printed also all these pages to include in the application, probably I won`t even need it ?

Yes...the 9 photo's...for the childrens photo's it states to label(childrens name) as well as applicants name(my wife being sponsored) her date of birth and signature??Is this correct??

Mike , 9 photos each and if that is the specifications on your countries outland requirement sheet, then yes, do the requirements on
each photo indicated.

thank you again Gemmie :)

so yes, I include only 2 pics, since its Inland.

Yes, sorry for the confusion. I guess I automatically go to Outland thoughts because we're applying outland.

Dont forget you can apply for that Open Work Permit as well with Inland applications.

Again, as stated above, you only include photos for those being SPONSORED. Your children are already Canadian and therefore not being sponsored, so you DO NOT include photos for them.

Do not include the outland guide if you are applying inland.

yes, I also include a OWP, since I`m inland, when everything goes good maybe I can work in about 5 months, that would be just awesome. thanks again everyone for your help :)

Make sure when you get your immigration photos the people doing it properly stamp the back with the date etc.. We almost sent them in unstamped because the photographer forgot. Thank goodness she also printed the wrong number of photos or we would have never noticed!

sorry Aquakitty, that question might be silly, but you mean the stamp from the photoshop that makes the pictures ? Just wondering, why cic wants that stamp :) I actually will go in a few hours to Jean Coutu, since I read they make proper Immigration photos for a very good price.
