Sponser Requirements

My sponsor is on Short Term Disability assistance for the last year, we are about to submit our application..will this be a factor in her qualification to be a sponsor?

Disability is generally fine. "You can’t be a sponsor if you....receive social assistance for a reason other than a disability"

I know someone who was unemployed and still was approved as a sponsor. I don't think it should be an issue. They may request for additional information, but it should be fine. Good luck.
