Can anyone tell me when u become a sponcer when is the start date.is it from the day pr is issued.so three years from then or is it a different date

It's from the landing date of the applicant.

So... the sponsored person becomes a PR when landing. =S

My husband arrived in canada feb 2012.he became pr jan 2014.so its 3 years from 2014 is that right

It starts on the day that the COPR is signed by you and CBSA/CIC.
