Spelling mistake in Father,s Name

Dear All,

There is a discrepancy in my fathers name in Passport and other documents. Father's name in passport is Zoulfiqar while in educational documents and ID card, it is Zulfiqar.

Should i change it to zulfiqar in passport as well, kindly recommend.

You need not change your name is passport.
You can provide a notary attestation as additional proof for supporting your request.

Its better have a Syn with all these documents. Changing father's name in passport would take little time only so do it before you apply for express entry.

Your passport information is all important for all immigration purpose.. Therefore, your father's name in your passport should be applicable for all of your immigration documents.. Now you have two option..

1) Change your passport (My preference, i changed my passport as my signature in the passport was different than my other documents, and i couldn't take any chance)... Although keep in mind that your IELTS result (if you have any) is tagged with your current passport.

2) In EE profile, use your father's name as mentioned in your passport.. Later after getting your ITA, when you need to fill up other forms, you will get fields where you can put Multiple entry for a single person's name in the 'Given Name' section.. There you can provide the other name..

Secondly, there is no option to put fathers name in EE profile.
I can go for the Given names option in Form u have mentioned.

I can go for the Given names option in Form u have mentioned. Yes.. for my 2014 application, i had to use this option for my father and that is OK..
