Hello, my employer issued ME a new letter after long-time. They took 3 weeks to issue the same. However, they made a mistake in my name. My name is printed with a letter missing. I contacted them again and no response from them. What shall I do? Would it be OK to submit it with LOE? PLEASE ADVISE ME....

try contacting your employer and request for a new letter with the change as the name is a VERY IMP component and you do not want it be a reason for the letter being invalid.

TRY harder to get a revised letter with the correct spelling. If still nothing then you will have to mention it in your LOE that there is a spelling error and give then more info about it, if you have received an ITA you still have 90 days.

BUT its better to be safe than sorry and get a new letter than to depend on the LOE

Hope this helps

THIS IS A MAJOR MISTAKE AND CIC WILL MOST LIKELY PICK ON IT.

PLAN A: EMAIL YOUR HR COPYING(CC) THE CEO (OR HIGHEST BOSS OF THE COMPANY) MENTIONING THE MISTAKE AND WAIT FOR THE MAGIC.

PLAN B: YOU CAN PHYSICALLY GO TO THE OFFICE IF ITS POSSIBLE.

GOOD LUCK.

Go to company's HR office and tell them you will wait there until they resolve the error they made.

Thanks.. But, I am in Canada now. Moreover, there are no points for this employment (1 year). I have another one for 3. 3 years to claim points. My employer is an Indian government organisation and they are usually very slow and hard to contact them.. I don't know what to do now.

If this experience doesn't contribute anything and is just one letter missing from your name, don't worry. Mention in your LOE that the name is misspelt but that you were unable to get a replacement. Also say that experience does not contribute to your CRS score or your eligibility (make sure it doesn't affect your 67/100 score)

If you aren't gaining points, remove it from your work history and only mention in your personal history. This removes the requirement for the letter entirely.

Could anyone please help me

I worked 2 different NOC(B & A) Codes in one companey

do I need to take 2 different letters from my cmpny OR only one??

Thanks for your advice. One more problem is that they sent the letter in black and white. They are ridicules.....

Not a huge deal, honestly as you aren't claiming points for this.

Worst case is officer goes "right, I don't feel that this work experience can be counted. Let me just re-adjust his score...oh...it's the same...ok, on to the next bit".

It can be one letter which includes the two jobs and duties separately. Then you can just upload the same letter in both sections.

Are you sure to submit a document in black and white?

Original would be best, but the only requirement for a colour document on cic rules is PCC. If it's not getting you any points then don't worry too much.
