Spelling error in biodata form received with MR. Please help

Hi Guys

I am a Nov. applicant. I have got MR today (Family).

But I have a problem, there was a spelling error in my first name in the AOR email I had received. It was a typing error by CIC. I have informed this error to CIC. They informed me that the clarification i have given is attached with my file. But in the ECAS the spelling error is still there.

The error is also in the Biodata document i got from CIC along with MR. So please advise what should I do now.

My wife also reveive MR, but she has done Medical for her wok permit which was in Jan 2012, so it is less than a year. Does she need to do MR again.

Please help urgent

As far as I have seen, bio data is an empty document which we need to fill and send it back to cic...I am a little confused here..pls clarify..

I think Chandn is talking about the Medical form (personalized with the name and other info) IMM 1017...

Chandn, I would suggest you to e-mail CPP-Ottawa by quoting the e-mail and IMM form number and made them aware about the error.

I mean the MEDICAL REPORT CLIENT BIODATA AND SUMMARY document attached with MR, which shows my name and application number etc.

Just now I also received RCMP check only for my wife. They didnt ask it for me. is that normal.

I suggest to.reply to that same email and alert cic asap as the same error might come up in ur copr.as.well..

Reg ur RCMP, yes its normal for only one applicant to receive the request...

Can I go with the current IMM 1017 to do medicals?.

Do i need to do RCMP?

I would suggest wait for the reply from CIC and if you get a reply before you see the doctor, its goo. Also, there is an option to correct your details in the DMP's emedical system. Yes, your wife needs to do medicals again. You dont need to do RCMP since its the request for your wife only
