Biometrics validity letter received: Oct 12
Original Passport Request: Oct 12
quite confused because in the final decision, it still says visa application is in progress. So i am confused if my visa is already approved or not yet.
I think your visa is approved. from where you have applied and what is your program?

@Nagaraju M My application # is lower than you. Does this mean my application will be assessed before? Or how does this work?
It should actually be processed that way, but, not sure if VOs are categorized to process applications based on criteria such as set of countries or set of series. When did you apply and current status? My medicals are also not updated yet.
sorry to hear that. how much time after the BVL did you get your refusal letter?btw at least the uncertainty period for this app is over and you can reapply now and hope to get a positive decision in time for Winter '23.

Got the Refusal letter exactly after 8 weeks of Biometrics. Also, I don't know about reapplying right now, as the reason is very general i.e. purpose of your visit is not consistent with the temporary stay. I think I'll be ordering GCMS notes before reapplying, hence leaving the only option of deferment.
btw at least the uncertainty period for this app is over and you can reapply now and hope to get a positive decision in time for Winter '23.
