I m here in Canada since jan 2020 on close work permit n applied OWP for ma husband n dependent visa( visiter)for ma daughter on 9 April 2020.till today no update.its so difficult to stay here without family.processing time is 4-5 months but now 7 months started.if I ask anything to lawyer.never give me satisfied ans.help me if anyone have any update regarding or according to situation.

Confused...you applied for a dependent visa for your daughter (this doesn’t exist) or a visitor visa. Do you have a spouse? Where are you from?

You can raise webform on your applications. However visitor visas average 8 months so you will not hear until end of November. Do they need biometrics because offices are closed.

I contacted thm through web form n they reply we can say anything abt processing time.application is under process.ma daughter is just 2 years old .she don’t need biometric I think.ma husband biometric done before So it’s already updated .

Hopefully you get good news soon. Once successful they will probably then need to apply for special authorization to travel.

same here ... my closed wp approved but my wife's OWP is still in progress (submitted on May 2020) ... due to lockdown my wife couldn't give biometric. My kids don't need to provide biometric but their applications are also not progressed much. I am also waiting anxiously when VAC will reopen in India.

- AOR September 8;
- eligibility review started November 24;
- medical passed December 17;
- biometric correspondence letter December 22;
