So you can apply for an SOWP. It takes many months to process especially because of covid.Yes he is currently workinghe’ll get his third pay stub on thurs and today he received his work permit today which is valid till april 20203.

I have started the application but it only says open work permit outside canada, there is no spouse open work permit word in the application.
Also, when I applied for visit visa I showed $10K fund in my account . But this time I am thinking not to show funds in my account. What do you suggest?

there is actually no SOWP it is just an OWP. Yes you should show funds in your account and husband should also show funds. As a couple you need to show that you can support yourselves if you live in Canada. Not everyone finds a job especially right away.Unfortunately yes
