We November Guys Are getting Results Very soon as One Of My friend Applied on 3rd November Got Approved. He applied paper application VFS Banglore.

Hi deh,

Actually His spouse is Provincial Nominee and Their Permanent resident Application is in process. He submitted medical with his application. He applied on 3rd November and Got his approval 2 days ago. I hope November applicant's Waiting is Over Now. Wish you guys best and happy New Year all....

So if one has provincial nominee..is it easier to get OWP??

I, applicant name , am applying for an Open Work Permit in Canada because I would like to accompany my husband who is currently on his Post Graduate Work Permit and working as a Technical Support Analyst in skilled category B, NOC 2282. I would like to stay with my husband for the duration of his Post Graduate Work Permit which expires on 28th January 2017. After completion of authorized period in Canada, we will come back home together as we are financially sound and secured with excellent academic background and we have no intention to stay in any foreign country. Moreover we have our families and parental properties to look after in the future.

I have attached the following supporting documents with my application.
My documents:
• Passport
• Degree certificates
• Previous employment offer letters and reliving orders
• Relationship background letter
• Wedding photos
• Wedding invitation
• Marriage certificate
• Photos from other visits
• Police clearance certificate
• Pre-medicals
• Rejection letter from CIC
• Letter in response to the refusal of previous application


Documents of my husband:
• Support letter
• Letter of employment and Confirmation of earning
• Pay stubs
• Passport
• Temporary Resident Visa
• Post-graduation work permit
• My degree certificate received in Canada
• Proof of funds - bank statement
• Canada tax returns - 2013 and 2012
• Lease agreement
• E-ticket during the time of marriage

Let's share our timelines for SOWP - November applicants from India. This will help all the people who have applied for SOWP so far.

My Timeline
Visa application submitted: 13th Nov 2014 (Paper based application)
Location: VFS Bangalore
Haven't received any update yet. !!!! ???

I have applied for SOWP on november 20 along with my husband's WP (paper based application). But yet to receive any response from CIC.
Can anyone let me know whether the November visas are processing?? It has been 50 days and both of us are very much worried.

I guess the number of working days is considered. So it's been 41 days I think.

Hi Curious,
The cover letter and the detailed description looks pretty good.
Since you have mentioned that you have parental properties, it would be good if documents supporting parental property is submitted. Just making sure that there is every proof for what you mention.

I am Still waiting for Updates, It is more than 2 months and didn't have any update yet on OWP submitted 5th November.

Please Guys Share your time line you others can get Idea about the processing time.

Is it okay to call now VFS help line regarding status of application or have to wait one or more weeks?
