I applied on 23rd March.
I'll probably be withdrawing my application soon,since I work abroad and came to India for just this purpose. Was hoping to get in a month and a half, seeing previous applicants and people I know. I submitted my passport along with the same and since i have to go back, will request withdrawal.
Will wait for a week then withdraw it in person.

I applied on Feb7. No updates yet. Really worried. Any suggestions on what to do next?

My timeline:
Applied online on March 15th
Did upfront medicals
passport requested on May 19th
Passport sent to Visa office through VFS Bangalore on 26th
Passport dispatched from visa office on June 5th.
Hopefully will get the passport back by this Monday.

I did SWOP application for my wife from here in Toronto. She is in Delhi.
Application submitted - Mar 28, 2017
Refusal - June 2, 2017
(they didn't asked anything in between that).
Reasons - 1. job not under NOC OAB
2. you wont have enough funds to support wife till the time she gets employment
3. marriage doesn't seems authentic
My job comes under the code b, its the job tittle that varies. I have as financial advisor but on the list its mention as financial service rep., personal banking rep.
i submitted my last 3 paystubs which should be good enough, also my offer letter
marriage certificate was submitted
So will re-apply, offsetting these conditions. Any suggestions welcome

Hey guys.... i applied for sowp on 17th april... did upfront medical tests and sent the e-medical report to my lawyer on 27th april so that he can upload it. He said he uploaded it but i dont know what went wrong and i received a mail from cic for medicals on 5th june. Lawyer said maybe the e-medical was not properly attached or maybe the format was wrong.. he said he will again attach the e-medical and will submit it... so my ques is will that medical report be enough or ill have to take out the print out of the form that cic sent and go for medicals again???

Lawyer said that the medicals are valid for 1 year so we can submit them anytime and the file will be processed

I am about to drop my passport in VFS tomorrow, Can i assume this as visa approval??? Are there any cases getting rejections even after passport being sent or requested by CIC??
