Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I have applied online and we are from Haryana, so how could they justify about VO?

I am thinking to send an email to Delhi, Consulate General of Canada and they have mentioned 4 months processing time and the processing times have been exceeded now.

I applied from Canada to get faster but this is really time taking process for me.

If we have approached processing visa using Lawyer, we can sue them(NDVO).

To those who are reading this thread, and planning to apply SOWP/visitor visa online using myCIC login and if the applicant/spouse in India, Please dont apply online. Instead apply by paper submission through VFS branches in major cities.

myCIC has limited documents to upload and i have combined all necessary documents in a single pdf and uploaded and still got rejected.

My wife got her passport with TR visa and an approval for Work permit.

She had applied for a SOWP through paper application at VFS New Delhi.

Date applied - 10th September 2014
Notification for Medical test received - 12th November 2014
Medical test done - 15th November 2014
Passport received - 24th November 2014

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to apply for Spousal open work permit for my wife. She is in India and i am here in Canada working full time. I think i will be going for online application from here. I am getting all documents ready. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Here is the list of documents i am sending-

For my Spouse-
marriage certificate
her Bank Fixed deposit- around 12lac
my daughters birth certificate
degree certificate
marriage pics
after marriage traveling pics
her passport and all stamped pages
my daughters passport
letter of explanation
upfront medical

MY Docs-
Job letter
pay stub
3 months bank statement
owner ship of my house
passport
my open work permit
my TRV
Sponsorship letter
Tax statements from Canadian revenue agency

Please let me know if i need some thing else? not sure if i need to include police clearance certificate for my wife?

I applied on 29july SOWP now I checked my cic A/c and as per MyCIC account a decision has been made on this application.

on the other way I didn't get any email of confirmation. What does it mean? I am really worried and after 4 months I dont want to hear any refusal.
