Any one has update on their passport?

I have applied on 21st August from VFS Ahmedabad. Nothing heard back so far.

Hi Priyankaj,

These are the sections in the IMM1295E that I filled stating its not an OWP but its a SOWP:
DETAILS OF INTENDED WORK IN CANADA:
1) Details of my prospective employer : Name of the employer :
A work permit for a spouse of a skilled worker(Spouse of Post Graduate Work Permit Holder working under NOC: 2171 Skill Level 'A' as an IT Consultant)

2)My Occupation in Canada will be: Spouse of Post Graduate Open Work Permit Holder
Brief Description of Duties: Spouse of Post Graduate Open Work Permit Holder.

I had even attached a letter of explanation to the dumb people to ask my documents for the online application. Its so sad and surprising that they offer the SOWP but the process does not ask for the documents in online application of the Spouse who is in Canada, Please only do paper application !

Hi I applied on Aug 25 CiC new Delhi...still waiting ...mine was online application ...how about you

Hi Sapna,

As in online application there is no space for sending the documents of spouse, have you been asked to upload ur spouse's documents.

Please let us know as in my wife's case I even asked how and when we can send documents of spouse as initial application does not allow to upload those and that is what qualifies my wife for SOWP.

Hi All,

Please suggest on how to get the pre medicals done for the paper application ? Should we just call one of the doctors on panel and ask them to do a medical? Do we need to carry any document as we want to do it before submitting application and not when asked by the embassy.
Please let me know whoever has done a pre medical and sent the reports with the application.

Can someone suggest how and where they defended the reasons of rejection if they applied again for the 1st or 2nd rejection.

Hi apardhamija,
When you are uploading the docs for online application; you will find diff. tabs to upload respective docs. I know, there are not all tabs for the documents they generally ask for. There is an additional tab to upload "Letter of explanation", for this you prepare a file with many pages in it by attaching all your docs & create PDF to upload it as "Letter of explanation". Remember to keep it less than 4MB.
You may attach as many docs as you have, they reject applications for missing docs, but never for extra docs.
