Asking for a friend. My friend applied for PR under CEC in Nov 2020 and his wife is accompanying too. Later in Dec 2020 they applied for SOWP, now the question do they have to inform VO that their PR application is in process?

He has job in NOC A and PGWP till 2022 May. Does the dual intent will have any impact on any of these applications? Please advise, thank you

I applied under this category. My wife has PNP nomination, Got 2 years employer-specific work permit and works under NOC C. My consultant confirms that I am eligible for SOWP.

You should inform but officers will know about the PR application in process.

Hello UAE based but lodged application in Philippines

My husband is in UAE, but he's an Indian citizen. would he be able to file the application from India?

Did you have to be in the Philippines when you filed it ? Also, where did you give your medicals?

Hello not sure for India. But it is quite the norm for Filipinos in middle east to use PH address even when in another country. I applied here in UAE and used UAE address only. Medical of SOWP in UAE.

What's the update with people from India who applied in January? There is literally no movement after biometrics.

Processing times have been reduced to 6 weeks in India so hoping things will move any moment now.
