Hello Everyone, I applied SOWP for my wife on second week of December online. Applied from India. I am currently on PGWP.
Received BIL on 15th December.
Submitted BIometrics on 22nd January.
Portal updated same day.
No updates since then.
Waiting for Medical request.
Saw processing time reduced from 22 weeks to 13 weeks now.

Hi, i am in Canada already and applied online, already have PNP nomination and my PR is in progress, spouses of applicants who have PNP nomination can apply for open work permit. Let me know if u have more questions . All the best.
hey when are you planning to travel ?
my spouse work permit also got approved but due to covid restrictions I am confused if he’s allowed to travel as he doesn’t have job letter.
Fortunately my family is in Canada already ....not totally sure on the travel process .i think they can travel but need to follow the mandatory quarantine process after arrival...
Are you travelling together? If not, he needs written authorization to travel.

Your spouse is not eligible for a SOWP, even with the nomination. Only NOC A,B or 0 jobs are eligible as per the link below. Your spouse can try for a visitor visa and written travel authorization. if successful, your spouse can only visit and not work. Your spouse will have to wait until you have PR to work.

What exemption code are you eligible for under the International Mobility Program. You never said you were under the IMP.
So you provided a link for the IMP program not PGWP. As per the link, you need a NOC A,B or 0 Job. Where in the link that your provided do you see an exemption.
Pgwp is also a part of imp and i am talking about spouse of pnp nominee holders expemtion code is T13.
