Hello,
I recently graduated from college and am now looking for a qualified job. However, when I received my degree, I made the mistake of applying for my spouse's SOWP extension without having secured a job first.
I now have a job, but it is in a TEER 5 occupation, and although the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) is 100%, the position is part-time.
I understand that the rule for eligibility was that PGWP holders need to be employed in a higher TEER/NOC category. However, I have also read in several places that there is a temporary rule, valid until next year, which allows individuals to apply with any NOC and even with part-time positions.
Is this correct? Should I update my documents or submit any forms to reflect my current employment situation?
I'm bit confused because some say you require to be in a specific TEER and other say that for now it is not necessary.
