No way to check. If you call you talk to a call centre agent and they will just tell you that eligibility and background are in progress. Background check has to do with immigration checks as well as verifying that documents are authentic. What is the NOC? How long have you been with the company?Thanks for your revert, Biometrics and Medicals (Upfront) are done, status says completed, it's just stuck at BGC and eligibility in progress since long. Is there any way to check where are they stuck or how much more long will they take ?Maybe i am getting anxious but there are some personal reasons. I will be glad if you could show me a ray of hope. That's really sad if there is no way to fetch out the current status as in where have they reached, they can take months in that case :|

Your employer should follow up. When did you get LMIA exemption as NOC codes are 5 digits and have been for a few years.

My employer told me that they would be filing an ICT and it is an LMIA exempt thing, hope they are correct. All they have shared with me is the credentials to check my application status. Yup i know i have to wait, by any chance do you have any idea usually after the medicals status changes to completed how much time does it takes for eligibility check and BGC, my medical status changed on 01/22.
It is a guess, and no one can tell you accurately how much time it will take.
How much time does it take to process Spouse open work permit for the spouse of an student. I am in India and have applied for SDS Student visa and currently haven't received my visa. Should i file my spouse visa after PPR or after stamping of student Visa? My classes starting in early May'24 and we both want to travel together. Would it be possible with current visa processing timelines.
