Hi, the processing times are different for applications outside canada, 10-12 weeks from the date of application is normal. However if your file is taking more than the normal processing times, let me know. Also keep us posted with your progress.

Hello friends

I submitted recently my online application for spousal open work permit to Delhi Visa office but I forgot to feed submission date on the date field of main application form(1295E) and family information form(5707E) but validation was successful. As I know in online application forms signatures are not required, but even without date is it ok? Or should I cancel and resubmit again with date?

One more form for TRV was optional which I submitted. There was a field 'If you ever held any govt positions such as judges, police officers, hospital administrators etc. I checked NO for this though I am a govt employee(banker) but not on above mentioned positions. So is that okay also? Or should I select YES in this field but I am not on a judge or police officers like posts.

Please clear my doubts by your valuable experience friends, so that I could rectify the thing if it is required to be.

1295E form is fine, no need to re-submit it.

For TRV, you should have checked "yes" as the organization you are working in falls under government of india and anyhow they are going to find it out. If you have already submitted the application, send an email to them at DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca mentioning that you have mistakenly marked "no" and also provide them the proof of employment. You can also fill the web-form for enquiries to make an update on your file, heres the link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/international-visa-offices/new-delhi.html

In future also you can use these two options to make any update about any changes in your information provided for your application

Government Positions
Have you ever held any government positions (such as civil servant, judge, police officer, mayor, member of parliament, hospital administrator)?

Are you sure it must be a 'Yes' for my post of assistant manager in a nationalized bank? I am in a confusion as it is asked specifically for above mentioned positions in the form field 7 and asking for area of jurisdiction in details there. While there is no area of jurisdiction like thing in our banking profession.
