SOWP applied on 09/08/17 still no update

Hi there

I applied for my open work permit on 9 August 2017. When I track it says being processed at the Visa office in Bangalore. Is there anyone who applied around the same time? They told me 10 weeks as the processing time. It's been 11 weeks now.

I don't know about SOWP. But, in general, I cannot trust on the expected duration time tool of the CIC website too much. For me, it shows the expected duration time is 2 weeks. I am in the beginning of the 8th week, and still, I have to wait more...
Also, the processing time tool updates weekly regularly, it is normal. If you want to consider that one, you should consider the expected processing time of the time that you submitted your complete application.

Currently SWOP is taking more time. I submitted my medical test on 7th October and received approval on 25th October. Still approval letter is pending. So we have no other option just wait and watch.......

Almost it took 34 calendar days for getting medical request.

I applied july 20th with upfront medical... Still waiting for rply.. Online it says 14 weeks its 16th week going to start.. Should i just call them and ask for the update?

Vfs just says to wait.. You can still try calling vfs helpline... I think you can even contact the high commission through email... I'm still waiting for my medical request

I applied from canada for my wife so i was planning to call IRCC
