SOWP application

Hi All,
I have applied for my spouse’s open work permit. She was previously refused for a visitor visa.
After applying, I she received medical request on 27 August and on September 02 it says she passed.
1. Any idea how long will it take to get a result after medical passing in general? It says on website total processing time 8 weeks. Its been 6 week already.
2. Anybody received decision for sowp series W3085?

Hello,

I am on LMIA closed work permit in Canada (TEER 2 Category Job) and want to apply for SOWP visa for my wife from India.
We have 4 years old kid and was wondering what type of visa I need to apply for my kid? For study permit for a kid, I do not have any admission letter.
Can I apply SOWP for my wife only and bring kid on visitor visa here ?

Please note that my kid and wife both has Canada TRV visitor visa from last year.

Police clearance upload via web form: 09 August
Medical Request: 28 August
Medical Passed: 02 September
New Police Clearance upload via webform: 07 September
Correspondence Letter: 11 September
Passport Request: 11 September
Passport Submit: 15 September

Waiting for counterfoil.

I forgot to add police clearance first, and I attached one year old one while I was getting a new one. Then I re-attached in 07 September.

From spouse
1. Job letter
2. IELTS
3. Academic Transcripts, Certificates,
4. National id card, birth certificate
5. Bank statement
6. Police clearance

Just bring them as a visitor and apply from inside Canada. In the mean time, you can get a admission from school for your kid. That is best way I can think of though I am no expert.
