Hello all. Kindly share your status for spouse open work permit. I applied for my wife’s and status is as given below..

Applied on-15th May, Upfront medical
Medical updated-21th May

It’s 19th June today. Under review and background check...waiting for response.....
 
Same here brother,
I have also applied online for my wife's SOWP, but I haven't received a biometric request, although I'd paid the fees for this.
 
I HAVE TALKED TO THE VFS PEOPLE, THEY SAID; EMBASSY WILL SEND YOU BIL(biometric request) only then my spouse has to go to provide their fingerprints.

Yes there are a lot. But haven’t seen any from past couple of weeks. Embassy seems lil bit busy now.

By the way, did u get biometric letter from IRCC ? Vfs has nothing to do with letter , they can only schedule an appointment
 
Hello, can someone tell me about the current timeline of SOWP india. I applied for my wife, she is in India.

APPLIED - 11 JUNE
BIOMETRICS REQUEST - 12 JUNE
BIOMETRICS DONE - 19 JUNE
BIOMETRICS APPROVED ON 25 JUNE
MEDICAL UPFRONT - APPROVED ON 25 JUNE

Also is there any way I can check the status of application from my end as I applied with the agent and he said not to link the application with gckey. He already linked it, is there any way I can see the updates.

My wife had given upfront medical and its been passed. Also she got biometrics request next day she applied and that is also passed. Is it a POSITIVE SIGN for her application.

Hi, what is your status now? mine also same as yours, waiting for a update on decision...
 
My second file has been applied SOWP on 7 May'19 due to biometric refusal revert from IRCC although I hv not received any update for get conducted biometric.
medical done already first time & 15 May also biometric done. After that status showing under process. Can anyone guide me how long process will take & correct deadline is showing 7 weeks from india which already crossed.
