SOWP 2021 from India.. timelines please

Hi All,

I have been following this group since I lodged my husband's SOWP on March 04,2021 and I am posting this so you remain hopeful .

Spouse is a student in Montreal,Quebec
Application Submitted : March 04, 2021
Mail sent for family reunification request : March 29,2021
No updates until yesterday
Medical Passed : April 08, 2021
PPR : April 08, 2021

And we got an authorization letter in the GCkey account too.

what proof you gave for upfront medical?

When i contacted the hospital for upfront SOWP, they told that they need either the offer letter or IME number. IME number can be recieved only after applying right?

Just go there and asked them to do Upfront Medical Exam. They will need passport copies, Your passport size pictures and fee. In front of IME they will write NON EDE while printing.
For upfront medical you don't need an offer letter or IME number.

Upfront medical type should be worker right?

yea. On my wife's sheet they did like this

Type: WORKER (Upfront sponsored medical examination) They wrote second part with pen

• Biometric Done :03 Feb 2021
• For Travel exemption and OWP prioritising mail sent on 7 April 2021.

Once i checked my gc key there is a change in status to Application profile Updated,And its back to submitted again.
Still No Response from them

Hi, I have submitted the SOWP application two days back and I recieved BIL yesterday..Today I got a mail that "we have updated your application status". But, there is no change in the application when i checked the account. What does that mean?

Submitted application in March 16th
BIL : March 16th
Biometrics completed : March 18th
After that no progress, while I am applying its been 6 weeks .
Planning to send reunification request today..

In gckey account ,my status has been changed four times into application/ status updated but still I hav not got any update ...still waiting for ppr and medical update ..it's been 8 weeks since I hv applied

Yes Sure!Last Sunday was my 4th update but in my profile nothing is changed..don't know what is going on...
