But how should I contact them to know my decision?? Any idea?
A per best of my knowledge your visa is approved because you only get biomatric correspondence letter when the visa is approved. As soon as VFS opens you should receive passport request.

Hope so that my visa has been approved @Rick2212
Hey hi. Congratulations!! Your application is definitely approved. Don't worry. They reject application before medicals. Your's is 100% approved. I can see from your medical pass date & biometric correspondence letter. Many applications get rejected just after receiving biometric request letter in first stage. No need to spend money & time for getting gcms notes. If you still want to be 100% sure you can go ahead and order them. But i seriously would not suggest that.

Usually for TRV applications eligibility check happens right after giving biometric within 2-3 weeks. So if they want to reject they would do then & there and would not request for medicals. Also receiving medicals is good sign that your application is going to right direction.
Hope this helps to people applying for TRV in future.

So did u receive ur decision in gcms note @AfricanGiant912

No, my application status on my GCMS Notes says it is still in progress. However, Eligibility, Criminality, Medical, Other Request (additional documents) were all passed. And it says Original Passport Request: Not Started. I guess that will be the next step. But yes in my personal experience, GCMS notes helped me a lot because my online portal stills says that they are reviewing my eligibility and my additional documents when they both have actually been reviewed and passed.

Sending you good vibes and hope to read a post soon from you telling us that you have been approved.

Medicals are routine and don’t guarantee approval.

Correct agree. But i have seen numerous cases where rejection happen before getting medical request. As medicals are another overhead or client has to bear additional charge to complete medical. So usually immigration officer if fortunate is a good guy they do not request medicals and does eligibility check before suggesting one to save clients time & money.

This is for TRVs mostly & from personal and others experiences.

Right now they are holding completed TRVs for final decision. As VAC/VFS offices are closed in most of the country mostly due to COVID-19 & Canada travel restrictions. So embassy officials are not issuing visa & passport request also holding final decision on applications.

Even i am victim of this.

Sending good vibes. Hopes helps others to understand the current scenario & IRCC way of processing currently.
