South Africa Spousal Question

WOW, what a great forum this is hey guys. So much useful information here its unbelievable.
I certainly hope the answers to my questions are have not been answered already somewhere else i'd be a bit embarassed, lol!

I am a South African who is married to a Canadian citizen. She is currently living here with me in Cape Town, SA. My questions are the following-;
1) Once our applications are compiled do we send it to Mississauga directly or to the Consulate that processes visas here?
2) Will i have my banking details checked as my wife lives with me here in SA?

1. Sponsorship and application with all attachments go to Mississauga.
2. Unlikely.

CIC considers the fact that you and your spouse have a joint bank account to be good evidence that you have a genuine marriage, so you can include her and your banking details on the application, if you want. Joint accounts, joint credit cards, both names on a mortgage, joint investments, each named as the beneficiary in the other's health and life insurance, retirement plans and wills, etc.
